Chainsaw only runs on half choke
WebMay 20, 2024 · Turning out the H and L screws should help but it's folly to tune a saw before cleaning it out, you want to tune it after making sure the carb, fuel filter, air filter are all clean. If that doesn't fix it you might have an air leak, either the crank seal or a gasket. My guess is dirty carb and it's the easy thing to do first. Reply F famreeks

Put fresh non-ethanol gas in it, now the choke must be on to keep it running.
