WebJul 27, 2024 · I had the ST Maxx on my FJ. I still don't understand the purpose of those tyres. Their grip isn't better than any other AT tyre with less aggressive tread pattern. Tried and tested on sandy uphills. They become noisy over time pretty much like MT tyres. They cause higher fuel consumption, same as MT tyres. Their speed rating is low, "Q".
