WebIf you don't have AES-NI Instructions, you will have slow speed. I just upgraded my pfsense to a CPU with AES-NI, and I can now fill my pipe with openvpn traffic. Yeah, it's a fully hardware based server, not virtualized. The CPU is a Intel (R) Xeon (R) CPU X3450. I'm not sure if this cpu supports AE-NI. WebThe pi itself is getting 200+mb/s speeds (tested with speedtest-cli), but the VPN speed its much lover. After adding mssfix to my .ovpn configuration, I am getting only ~60mb/s via VPN on a 200mb/s+ network. Is that kind of loss expected (70% slower speed), or am I missing something? Is there a way to increase throughput?
