I have found likes and dislikes with all but more than anything it seams like long term they all end up bending or getting some wobble especially with 80# 500 grain arrow plus set ups I have. WebMar 11, 2024 · Never had any luck with half outs using Axis arrows. They always seem to bend with contact to anything of significance (like a shed). Check out Iron will outfitters for there axis system. It ain’t cheap but neither are arrows that need new inserts because they won’t spin true after hitting something unexpected. They were way better than CX, but I found that the outserts were breaking off at the carbon shafts just beyond the glue line when I hit any resistance on animals. So I’m in the market for something new. I don’t want the .166 shafts any more, I’m looking at the .204 where I can use real inserts.
