WebCTO stands for “Community Treatment Order”. A CTO is an agreement between you and your doctor. You agree to stay on a treatment plan while supervised by a doctor in the community. CTOs are part of the Ontario Mental Health Act. A CTO lasts for 6 months. At the end of 6 months, the doctor may want to renew it for another 6 months.
